China makes history by landing on far side of the moon

China made history Thursday as its Chang’e-4 spacecraft touched down on the far side of the moon.

That's a first for space exploration, according to Quartz.

The delivered rover is designed to carry out experiments to learn about the history of the solar system and whether humans can live on the moon.
