China hits back with tariffs on US imports worth $3B

Amid trade war talks, China has imposed tariffs of up to 25 percent on 128 U.S. imports, including pork and wine. The move comes after President Donald Trump raised duties on foreign steel and aluminum imports in March.

Trump has said “trade wars are good” and that it should be “easy” for the United States to win one. According to BBC reports, American authorities have already announced plans for further targeted tariffs for tens of billions of dollars of Chinese imports.
