The mayor of the northern Missouri city of Chillicothe died Saturday. He was 81.
Chuck Haney was serving his sixth term as mayor. He was first elected to the position in 2007.
He also worked at the Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune for 34 years. He was editor and publisher of the Tribune from 1980 until 1998.
