Project description: A new headquarters in Nixa is being constructed to replace an Ozark building that the Children’s Smile Center has outgrown, officials from the nonprofit say. With the new building, the organization will have the capacity to serve about 10,000 children on Missouri Medicaid per year, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. The new headquarters is designed to include nine exam chairs and a community meeting space, plus offices for the nonprofit. Architect is Arkifex Studios LLC, and engineers are Shaffer & Hines Inc., civil; RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, structural; and Conway Duncan Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
