Children’s Mercy Kansas City names new CEO

Children’s Mercy Kansas City has selected a new CEO.

Alejandro Quiroga is scheduled to start on Jan. 2. He'll succeed Paul Kempinski, who this year announced plans to retire after five years leading Children's Mercy.

Quiroga, who has a background is in pediatrics and hospital leadership, most recently has served as president of Corewell Health West in Michigan.
