A child has damaged a Mark Rothko painting at a Dutch museum.
The painting, which is said to be valued at $56 million, incurred several visible scratches when the child was left unsupervised.
Officials with the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam are assessing next steps for the piece called "Grey, Orange on Maroon, No. 8."
