Chiefs players to get bonuses for Super Bowl appearance

Posted online

Kansas City Chiefs players are set to receive bonuses as the team heads to its third-straight Super Bowl appearance.

Each member of the winning team in the Super Bowl is slated to receive $171,000, up by $7,000 from last year. Members of the losing team would each receive $96,000, compared with $89,000 in 2024.

A victory for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes would mean a $1.25 million increase to the base pay of his contract. The Super Bowl clause also includes a requirement that Mahomes play at least 50% of snaps this season, which he has accomplished.
