Chiefs players pick stocks with Cramer

Posted online
Kendall Gammon, long snapper for the Kansas City Chiefs and southwest Missouri resident, and wide receiver teammate Eddie Kennison traded helmets and pigskin for stock picks during an appearance Tuesday on Jim Cramer’s “Mad Money” on CNBC.

Gammon, a Carl Junction resident, graduated from Pittsburg (Kan.) State University with a degree in physical education and science. Both Gammon and Kennison completed the National Football League’s Business and Entrepreneurial Program at Harvard University.

Gammon discussed the importance of asking the right questions when selecting investments. He said he invests with a five-year view of the stock. His holdings include Washington Mutual (NYSE: WM), Pfizer (NYSE: PF), Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-B).

Kennison said his investment strategy includes mutual funds. He also said the NFL Players Association's 401(k) plan is one of the world’s best and matches contributions 2-to-1.
