Chief Justice Roberts recently spent a night in the hospital

Chief Justice John Roberts spent the night in a hospital last month after falling and injuring his forehead, a Supreme Court spokesperson said.

The June 21 accident occurred when Roberts was walking for exercise near his home. Roberts, 65, has a history of seizures, but doctors have ruled that out for the recent accident.

“They believe the fall was likely due to lightheadedness caused by dehydration,” the spokesperson, Kathleen Arberg, said.
