Chicago-based Mac Properties has secured tax incentives for a project in Kansas City.
The Planned Industrial Expansion Authority approved a public financing deal that provides a 15-year tax break. Two other attempts by Mac for tax incentives were rejected by other Kansas City authorities.
The company plans to build an apartment building at the corner of Armour Boulevard and Main Street. It would be near a future streetcar stop.
