Mexican restaurant chain Chi-Chi’s is planning a comeback after closing 20 years ago.
Michael McDermott, the son of the chain’s co-founder, has been granted the rights by Hormel Foods to open restaurants in 2025.
The restaurant chain closed in 2004 after green onions served in its complimentary salsa caused the largest hepatitis A outbreak in U.S. history.
