Chesterfield restaurant Filippo’s Italian Kitchen & Bar closed after 10 years in business.
Owner Joe Sanfilippo closed his first restaurant, J.F. Sanfilippo’s, two and a half years ago after opening it in 1991.
He cited the recent deaths of his mother and uncle, as well as staffing issues, for closing Filippo’s in St. Louis County.
