Chesterfield cop charged with using gas-station bathroom spy cam

Posted online
Chesterfield police Officer David Cerna was arrested and charged with one count of felony invasion of privacy for allegedly installing a camera in a men’s gas station bathroom.

Cerna, who has been fired, is accused of installing the camera in February at a Mobil On The Run station near Chesterfield Mall. The investigation was prompted by a reporter from Fox 2 News, who made police aware of a video from a camera in the restroom that was posted online.

A probable cause statement indicates Cerna admits participation in the offense, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
