Cher sues financial firm over $800K in losses

Cher filed suit against a financial management partnership she claims defrauded her out of more than $800,000 in investments that went belly-up.

Filed yesterday, the singer's lawsuit targets SAIL Venture Partners and related firms.

Cher claims the partnership put her money into "risky and unsound" investments and that it engaged in "malicious and fraudulent" behavior.
