Chef to celebrities hired by Hiltons of Branson

Hiltons of Branson has hired a former chef for musicians and Hollywood actors as the executive chef for the Branson Convention Center and the attached Hilton Hotel, as well as the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing.

Personal chef Melinda Burrows has been selected for the position, according to a news release.

“Her diverse culinary skills, expertise and passion for food as art will certainly take our already outstanding food offerings to the next level," said Nathan Read, food and beverage director of Hiltons of Branson, in the release.

Burrows - who is married to actor Darren Burrows, whom she met while working as a food stylist for the TV show "Northern Exposure" - has cooked for a number of famous names.

Melinda Burrows served as the traveling chef for Paul McCartney and Phil Collins, as well as the personal chef to the bands Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam during recording sessions. In 2011, Burrows founded Your Personal Chef, a catering business that counted among its clientele Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Katherine Keener, Dermott Mulroney and David Fincher.  

Most recently, Burrows worked as campus executive chef for Wichita State University in Kansas.[[In-content Ad]]
