“I definitely, especially in the last few years, have made a point to make sure that I turn off work before I walk in the door. That’s been a lesson that I’ve learned,” says Travis Miller, Owner and Senior Structural Engineer with Miller Engineering. Miller says after a rough day, he sometimes stops at a park on the way home and listens to music to unwind. “You need to come in the front door and embrace your family and get in ‘dad mode’ really quick, or else you’re missing the whole point of it all,” Miller says.
