Cheating website Ashley Madison hacked

A dating website that helps married people cheat has been hit by hackers who threatened to release information about millions of customers.

With the advertising slogan, "Life is short. Have an affair," Ashley Madison was attacked Monday and reported some of its user data was stolen, according to CNNMoney.

The hackers, calling themselves the Impact Team, said if the site is not taken offline, they'll release customers records, such as real names and addresses, employee documents and credit card information.
