Chase Card Services, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), is seeking 200 new employees for its Springfield call center. The Missouri Job Center and Ozark Region Workforce Development Board held a hiring event yesterday on site.
The hires would join some 1,400 people Chase employs at the 303 E. Republic Road center, said Chase spokesman Rob Tacey via email.
The customer service positions would fill a staffing gap for the company to “engage and service customers by answering customer inquiries, resolving complex problems with the highest level of customer satisfaction, and offering services and products that enable customers to reach their financial goals,” according to a news release from the Missouri Job Center.
The job center partnered with the Ozark Region Workforce Development Board for the Chase hiring event, held outside the company’s call center in a mobile career center.
On June 7,
Springfield Business Journal reported Chase was holding the hiring event, but a recruiter could not be reached for details by deadline.
Expedia Inc. (Nasdaq: EXPE) also is hiring for its Springfield call center, with plans to add 35 positions to its over 900 employees working at the former Springfield-Branson National Airport terminal.
