Local Philanthropy
With a strong belief in their employees and the communities they serve, Chase has been committed to Springfield since 1998 with philanthropy and volunteerism interwoven into the employee culture. Chase is a partner in education with McGregor, Williams and Holland Elementary Schools, as well as Parkview and Glendale High Schools. These partnerships include programs like Lunch Buddies, Food for Thought Backpacks, Field Days, SWOOP Pizza Parties, Financial Literacy Workshops and the annual Wishmas Tree, a program where employees adopt every 4th grade student at McGregor and Williams and purchase holiday presents as well as some staples students may not have, like new socks, winter hats and gloves. This year, every single student at McGregor, Williams and Holland Elementary started school with a new backpack full of school supplies, and a hygiene kit full of personal care items, thanks to Chase and their partnership with World Vision.

Each semester Chase also invites students from Glendale to their campus to learn interview styles, participate in mock interviews, and interact with senior leaders.  Another of the company’s unique partnerships, Chase Leadership Academy, is shared with Parkview High School.  Twenty seniors are selected annually to complete an interactive curriculum that focuses on life skills, career skills, and financial literacy, and each senior that graduates the program receives a $500 scholarship.

Employee Commitment
Chase recognizes that their employees are the most important contributors to the company’s overall success.  As a result, they emphasize employee recognition, development, and camaraderie in a positive, productive work environment.  To create this environment, Chase offers a variety of programs and opportunities for their employees ranging from performance recognition to career and leadership development to Business Resource Groups (BRGs).

BRGs are based on affinities that employees share, such as race, cultural heritage, gender, sexual orientation, creative abilities, and other defining criteria, and have evolved into a key resource for achieving business and diversity goals as well as a leadership and career development tool for their global membership. Employee development is also a focus and Chase provides a wide-range of learning opportunities such as Career Corner, Career Connections, Development University and Professional Power.

At Chase, the company’s world-class employees are proud to be a part of the 2011 “Best Company to Work For” and “Best Call Center” in Springfield, as well as reach out to the greater community. Since 1998, Chase employees have volunteered more than one hundred thousand hours and JPMorgan Chase Foundation has donated more than a half a million dollars to over 150 local agencies, schools, and businesses.  Through their focus on customers, employees, and communities, Chase is creating the ultimate experience developing lifelong, engaged relationships with those they serve.[[In-content Ad]]
