After exiting the Canadian credit card market last year, Chase Bank now has forgiven all debt in the country.
Customers previously were told they'd need to continue paying off their debt.
"As part of that exit, all credit card accounts were closed on or before March 2018," said Maria Martinez, vice president of communications for Chase Card Services. "A further business decision has been made to forgive all outstanding balances in order to complete the exit."
