Tuckness was a class adviser at the U.S. chamber’s Institute for Organization Management, held July 8–13 in Los Angeles. The institute is a weeklong nonprofit leadership-training program, facilitated by class advisers who are chosen by its board of regents.
“These volunteers not only help their individual classes make the most of their time at Institute, but they encourage group camaraderie prior to the program and keep the momentum alive after the week is over,” said Raymond P. Towle, vice president of the institute, in a news release.
Tuckness received a certificate in nonprofit management in 2005 at the West Institute program held in Colorado. He also has a bachelor’s degree in communication, business and graphic design and a master’s degree in communication, both from Drury University.
The U.S. chamber is the world’s largest business federation, representing more than 3 million businesses and organizations.[[In-content Ad]]
