Agribusiness is a large player in southwest Missouri's economy. In recognition of that, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce has established the Agribusiness of the Year Award to recognize one outstanding member of this sector of the area's business economy, said Greg Williams, manager of business development for the chamber.
