Nominees must be members of the chamber and employ no more than 50 people. They will be judged on history, business or management philosophy, response to challenges, innovative products or services offered, and community-oriented contributions.
The chosen business will be honored at the Small Business of the Year Award Luncheon May 9 at the University Plaza Convention Center.
Past honorees include Amberg Entertainment; Candy House Gourmet Chocolates; Butler, Rosenbury & Partners; Millwood Golf & Racquet Club; Carnahan-White; and Springfield Business Journal.
