Pellham-Phillips Architects & Engineers Wednesday was crowned Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s W. Curtis Strube Small Business of the Year.
The firm was chosen from a pool of five finalists. Others were All Pet Supplies & Equine Center, Jack Ball and Associates Architects, Pearson-Kelly Office Products and Professional Massage Training Center Inc. Pellham-Phillips, 1111 S. Glenstone Ave., Ste. 3-100, specializes in architecture, engineering, planning and interior design. The 25-employee company has been in the building industry for 30 years, designing such landmarks as the Busch Municipal Building, Hammons Field and Chateau on the Lake in Branson. The Small Business of the Year award, given since 1992, is presented by the chamber’s Small Business Council and determined by an independent panel of judges.
Last year’s Small Business of the Year winner was Family Pharmacy’s Plainview Road location.
