Chamber names Manufacturer of the Year finalists

Finalists are Jarden Plastic Solutions, Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co. and Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems.

Jarden Plastic Solutions employs 65 and is a supplier of plastic and manufacturing solutions for the home; Herb Dankert is plant manager.

Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co., led by President John Schaefer, employs 334 and offers production, warehouse services and delivery and equipment services for Coca-Cola and Dr Pepper products.

President John Ermold leads Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems, which has a staff of 300 and manufactures industrial blowers for pressure and vacuum applications that filter air in an industrial environment.

Finalists are evaluated on business stability and growth; employee development; product development and sustainability; environmental, health and safety performance; and community involvement. A seven-judge panel will visit each finalist’s facilities, and each will be recognized at the annual awards luncheon at noon at University Plaza Convention Center.
