The event will be at 6 p.m. May 15 at Hammons Student Center, on the Missouri State University campus.
Anderson has been with the chamber since 1988. He previously was president of the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce and a teacher and administrator with Jefferson City Public Schools.
His community involvement has included positions with the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri, United Way of the Ozarks, Urban Districts Alliance, Community Relations Board for the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Missouri Business Council, Total Transportation Commission, and Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.
“We are honored to have such a dynamic businessman and speaker, and a long-time supporter of the college, as our guest for this year’s commencement,” OTC President Hal Higdon said in a news release.
