Chamber forum targets
e-business
The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored a fact-filled panel presentation on e-business Nov. 2. A panel comprising Doug Pitt, of ServiceWorld Computer Center Inc., Mike Mylenbusch, Cisco systems engineer, and Steve Kirks, of Gabriel Communications, addressed some of the fundamentals of e-commerce, including how to choose a Web site designer, selling online and the pitfalls of the Internet.

The chamber program was recorded on video by Ruell Chappell, of Ruell Chappell Music & Sales on Hold, and will be available for purchase through the chamber at a future date, according to Sonja Chasteen, business assistance manager for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
