Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce executive Brent McCoy was elected president of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri.
McCoy, vice president of membership for the Springfield chamber, will serve in the statewide trade group's top board post during 2015. He takes over for Erin Williams of the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce, according to a news release.
McCoy was elected during CCEM's annual meeting Oct. 10 in St. Charles. Among other moves at the meeting was the election of Ginger LaMar of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce as vice president of the board, and the addition of Jeff Meredith of the Monett Chamber of Commerce as a board member.
The CCEM provides networking for members, including professional growth and development services. It also encourages members of chambers across the state to work together to grow Missouri's economy, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
