Challenges of Running a Nonprofit

Christina Ford, President and Founder of The Rebound Foundation, says she’s faced many difficulties in starting The Rebound Foundation. Securing donations and meeting clients’ individual needs are constant challenges. Ford says it’s tough to divide your time between family and serving those in need. “It’s taking from our family and sometimes they don’t understand all that it takes,” Ford says. “So it’s kind of that balance of still being mom, wife, coach’s wife and all those things plus giving time to the Rebound that it needs.” Ford is a Springfield Business Journal 2019 Most Influential Women honoree.
