Chairman of Chinese conglomerate dies in accident

The chairman and co-founder of Chinese conglomerate HNA Group Co. died after being injured in an accident.

Officials with the company said Wang Jian, 57, died Tuesday after an accidental fall while on a business trip in France.

HNA holds interests in airlines, hotels, financial institutions and other assets.
