The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's new acting director is suing President Donald Trump's administration.
Former leader Richard Cordray resigned Friday and picked Deputy Director Leandra English as acting director.
However, Trump's administration selected Mick Mulvaney to head the agency.
English contends she's entitled to the job under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform law, which created the agency and states the deputy director must become acting director when the agency's top spot is vacant.
