Cerner's 2014 revenue jumps half-billion dollars

Cerner Corp. announced revenue of $3.4 billion for 2014 — up half a billion dollars from the previous year.

The Kansas City-based health care information technology company (Nasdaq: CERN) pushed earnings for the year to $525.4 million, up from $398.4 million in 2013.

According to the Kansas City Business Journal, fourth-quarter revenue grew to $926 million and net income for the three-month period increased to $147.9 million.
