CEO of Bitcoin exchange found dead in Singapore

Posted online
The hits keep coming for virtual currency exchange Bitcoin as an American exchange CEO was found dead in Singapore.

Autumn Radtke, 28, was found dead Feb. 26 outside her Singapore apartment building. Police officers do not suspect foul play and the death as been classified as "unnatural," mostly likely a suicide, according to reports from the Associated Press.

Radtke was CEO of Bitcoin exchange site First Meta.

Bitcoin's troubles began in January with the arrest of BitInstant exchange CEO Charlie Shrem, 24, for activity on the now-defunct black market website Silk Road. In late February, Bitcoin's largest exchange site, Mt. Gox, filed for bankruptcy. Earlier this week, Bitcoin bank Flexcoin lost $600,000 following a hacker attack and was shuttered.

AP reports a funeral for Radtke was held Wednesday in Hales Corners, Wisc., according to Hartson Funeral Home.
