Andrea McKinney has joined Central Trust & Investment Co.'s Springfield office as a vice president and wealth strategist serving Ozarks individuals and businesses.

McKinney  has more than 10 years of experience in financial services, including serving as senior vice president and manager of Commerce Bank's private banking division and, most recently, a year at OakStar Bank, where she was senior vice president and director of client services. She started work at Central Trust March 1.

McKinney holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University.

Jami Peebles, senior vice president and southern regional manager of Central Trust, said McKinney is an asset to the company, which is affiliated with Empire Bank in Springfield.
"Her background in wealth management will help us to facilitate growth in our asset management services and allow us to better serve our clients," Peebles said in a news release.

With about $3.8 billion in combined client assets, Central Trust & Investment Co. provides investment management, fiduciary, trust and retirement plan services. In addition to Springfield, the company has offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, Jefferson City and Osage Beach.
