Project description: Sapp Design Associates Architects is teaming with WER Architects/Planners to bring Centerton’s vision for a 36,500-square-foot recreation center to life. The building is designed to include aquatics, fitness areas, party and community rooms and an elevated walking track, project officials say. Inspired by the city’s apple-growing heritage, the center will be nestled in an orchard. A long-term master plan calls for future expansion with outdoor aquatics, trails and courts.
