St. Louis managed health care provider Centene Corp. agreed to sell a majority stake it owns in a home health business.
The buyers of the stake in U.S. Medical Management LLC are Rubicon Founders; Valtruis, a portfolio company of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS); Oak HC/FT; and HLM Venture Partners, the St. Louis Business Journal reports.
Centene, which will keep a minority stake in the business, purchased the Michigan-based company in 2013 for $200 million.
