St. Louis-based managed care corporation Centene reached a $17 million settlement with the state of Oregon.
The state alleged Centene overcharged its Medicaid program for pharmacy costs.
“This pharmacy partnership with Centene was meant to help some of our most vulnerable, but this company took advantage of Oregon,” state Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum said. “This settlement is one more way we can help rein in the price of prescription drugs.”
