St. Louis-based Centene Corp. called off plans for a $1 billion East Coast headquarters.
The company had planned to add 3,200 jobs in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“Today, almost 90% of our workforce is working fully remote or in a hybrid work environment, and workplace flexibility is essential to attracting and retaining our top talent,” a spokesperson said.
