The Springfield-based retailer’s Evening for Conservation begins at 6 p.m. at the store, which is the signature tenant of Foxborough’s new Patriot Place development. The grand-opening celebration continues through Thursday.
Scheduled guests tonight include Nascar driver Martin Truex Jr. with his crew chief Kevin Manion, angler and TV host Jimmy Houston, New England Patriots players Matt Light, Mike Vrabel, Rodney Harrison, Steve Nelson and former players Russ Francis, Peter Brock, Ron Lippett, Roland James and Steve King. Also in attendance will be Bassmaster Angler of the Year Roland Martin and Bass Pro Shops national fishing team members Edwin Evers, Stacey King and Tim Horton.
Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris and President Jim Hagale also are expected to attend.
Half of every $1 spent during the event will be donated to the More Fish campaign of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to save fish and their habitats.
The 140,000-square-foot store specializes in outdoor gear and has an expansive boat showroom and the Blue Fin Lounge.[[In-content Ad]]
