The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported an E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers.
At least 49 people in 10 states, including Missouri, have been sickened by the outbreak. An older person died in Colorado, and a child has been hospitalized with severe kidney complications, according to the CDC.
