The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration are recommending the United States pause the use of the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine.
The recommendation came after six reports of U.S. cases of a "rare and severe" type of blood clot connected to the vaccine.
The six reported cases were among more than 6.8 million doses distributed.
