Walton Construction Company Inc. is the general contractor for this recently completed structure, which is owned by Conway Transportation Systems Inc.
The architect is TranSystems Corporation. Worth an estimated $3.5 million, the project consists of eight acres of heavy-duty, eight-inch thick reinforced concrete paving, 32,000 square feet of cross-dock space and 6,500 square feet of office space.
It has 86 dock doors for incoming and outgoing shipments and is a refueling station for Con-Way's fleet. The structure is enclosed by 4,000 lineal feet of chain-link fence.
