CBS executive chairman resigns

CBS Corp. announced yesterday Sumner Redstone had resigned as executive chairman.

Effective Feb. 2, the resignation comes amid heightened questions about the billionaire's physical and mental health.

He's being succeeded by Leslie Moonves, CBS president and CEO.
