CBS CEO resigns after sexual misconduct allegations

CBS CEO Les Moonves resigned after facing allegations of sexual misconduct.

CBS began investigating Moonves in July, when the New Yorker published allegations. Six more women alleged sexual misconduct on Sunday.

Moonves, 68, who has denied the allegations, called the latest accusations "appalling."

Joseph Ianniello was tapped to serve as president and acting CEO.
