CBS and former president ordered to pay $30.5M

CBS and its former president, Leslie Moonves, were ordered to pay $30.5 million by the New York attorney general’s office.

Attorney General Letitia James alleged the network conspired with a Los Angeles police captain to conceal sexual assault allegations against Moonves.

At least one of the executives involved sold millions of dollars’ worth of stock before the allegations became public. The attorney general's office alleges that amounts to insider trading.
