The organization has at least a three-day supply of most blood types, but more than 275 blood donations are needed every day to meet the needs of 36 hospitals in a 38-county region.
Today, donations are accepted in Brighton until 2 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, 5549 N. Highway 13; in Fayetteville, Ark., until 4 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Student Union; in Humansville 3:30–7:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 802 Tilden; in Neosho until 4 p.m. at the Freeman Neosho Hospital, 113 W. Hickory; in Reeds Spring 1–5 p.m. at the R-4 School District Administration Building, 22595 Main St.; and in Springfield 1– 4 p.m. at the Springfield Main Post Office, 500 E. Chestnut, and 5–8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus-Council 698, 2340 W. Grand.
On Wednesday, donations will be accepted in Ava 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Missouri Ozarks Community Health, 504 NW 10th Ave., and 12–6 p.m. at the Community Center of Ava, 109 NE Second; in Fayetteville, Ark., 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Student Union; and in Springfield 4:30–8:30 p.m. at National Heights Baptist Church, 3050 N. National.
On Thursday, donations will be accepted in Nixa 12–4 p.m. at Nixa City Utilities, 707 Center Circle, and in Springfield 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at Assemblies of God Headquarters, 1445 Boonville.
On Friday, donations will be accepted in Houston 1–6 p.m. at First Christian Church, East Highway 17.
The drive concludes Saturday with donations accepted in Rogers, Ark., 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2110 W. Walnut.
To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and have not given blood in the past 56 days.[[In-content Ad]]
