Cavner makes top women advisers list for seventh year

Posted online
Springfield financial adviser Nadia Cavner has again claimed a spot on a familiar national list.

Cavner, executive vice president of BancorpSouth Investment Services, was listed as one of the top women financial advisers nationwide in the June 2010 issue of Barron's business magazine. This year's list marks the seventh consecutive year Cavner has received the honor, according to a BancorpSouth news release.

The report is based on specific factors including volume of assets managed, revenues generated for the firm and the quality of the adviser's practice.

Cavner was also named as Franklin Templeton Investments' No. 1 adviser nationwide for 2009 through the banking channel, the eighth consecutive year for that honor.

Cavner is head of The Nadia Cavner Group at BancorpSouth Investment Services, where she has been since 2005.
