Casey’s General Stores plans to develop a distribution center and add 125 new jobs in Joplin.
“This is a great win for our region and the greater Joplin area,” said Erin Slifka, marketing and public relations manager for the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce. “It is a $40 million capital investment.”
Casey’s officials say the distribution center initially will serve up to 600 of the company's stores in the Midwest and South.
