Shares of used car marketplace Carvana continued to drop on Monday.
Shares were down 15% Monday to close at $7.39 per share. The downward trajectory began Friday, when the company's stock dropped by 39%, its worst one-day performance to date.
“We were always going to have to traverse difficult periods and cycles on our way to fulfilling our mission,” company officials wrote in a letter to shareholders last week. “On the other side of this period, we plan to be a better company as a result of having gone through it.”
