Carrier to lay off 630 employees

Carrier plans to lay off 630 employees this summer in Indianapolis.

Last year, the company planned to move its entire operation to Mexico before striking a deal with President Donald Trump to keep jobs in the United States.

Had it moved to Mexico, 1,000 would have been laid off.
